Works very well with original Le Creuset Screwpull lever model. Used it on young bottle corks, as well as a 22yr old bottle cork. Some previous reviews had stated otherwise. Only minor thing was to ensure the retaining cap was tight - slight pressure down while turning cap.A great value for price: Best's spiral was $3 apiece vs La Creuset spiral at $42. Also a nice quality feature using plastic end caps for the sharp spiral tip.The Screwpull lever model screw is $42 for one corkscrew. These folks had a similar model, five for $15 . I did not see Screwpull on the list of uses, but they looked the same; So for the price i got a 5-pack, thinking if they work great, worth the risk. The disk at the top is a couple mm smaller than the original. I tried it just now on a Wente Chardonnay. Their fake cork is one of those so hard almost nothing will penetrate, even an "ah so". this one fits the Screwpull, and pentrated the "cork" much better than the worn out original. The extraction also works the same. Only question now is how long it will last, but at this price I am not concerned. PS., a long time wine drinker, I have used almost every modern cork tool there is, and I am satisfied. PS - should have added my version is a Le Creuset about 5 years old.I bought this set to see if it would fix our Houdini lever corkscrew. It was getting very difficult to operate and stopped removing the cork after opening wine bottles. I was getting concerned that it was broke, but I wanted to see if replacing the spiral worm would fix the issue before writing it off as a kaput.Sure enough, I replaced the spiral worm with one of these and it fixed the issues. Now our corkscrew is working properly. As of this writing, I have used it twice and it has not bound up.The overall quality of these are very good and I like that they came with the little end-caps to avoid getting jabbed by the sharp points. I only needed one of these, but this three-piece price was too good to pass up. I'm glad that we will have 2 extras in case I need to fix our corkscrew again. My Sharper Image cork puller was in need of of a new corkscrew spiral. Didn't know where to find one so it sat unused in the cupboard for several months. It is back in use now thanks to this replacement product. It was simple to install and works well. It's reassuring to know I now have a couple of spare spirals on hand and that more are quickly available through Amazon! My old worms had gotten dull and made using my corkscrew rather difficult. These replacement corkscrew worms were just what I needed and they work great.Quick install and good fit for my ~10 year old houdini opener. Slick Teflon finish reduces resistance and makes opening very smooth and easy.I swear my rabbit is now working smoother and better than it was when new. Hardest part was removing the old worm, as somehow I had managed to badly bend it (quite some feat given how stiff the metal is), but once that was done installing the new one was trivial.Oh, we are so glad to have ordered these! We have a corkscrew that's part of a set a friend gifted us. We love to use it but it was becoming SO hard to get corks loose from the corkscrew after opening a bottle! Husband installed one of these and "Voila!" bottles open easily and the cork comes right off the corkscrew, no pulling, tugging or fighting with it! Smooth and easy. Two thumbs up!I was a little dubious ordering these spirals, as reviews were conflicting. I can confirm that the spiral does fit into a Screwpull lever corkscrew BUT it does not take the cork out of the wine: it just slips through, so the spirals are totally useless and a waste of money.Despite the seller stating in their Q&A section that this fits the LeCreuset screwpull corkscrew it does not. Closer inspection on the comments section shows the seller must be aware of this issue and the review section shows this as a common complaint.Appalling seller and useless product that is knowingly mis-sold. Waste. Of. Time.Product arrived promptly, well and safely packaged and already using as replacement for unbranded lever arm corkscrew ‘freebie’ I got from Naked Wines some years ago. Although unbranded, it’s very similar to KitchenCraft one available. Works great and very good value for money for pack of 3. CheersA: yes it does - simple to fit and works much better now the corkscrew has a non-stick coating again.DOES NOT WORK WITH LECRUSET. RUBBISH
