Can open a can with one hand and very easy to use.Great great greatI've used Edlund can openers (#1 and #2) for over 20 years and never had an issue of any kind. I just got a new #2 for home use and I'm delighted with the improvements they have made. It is definitely worth paying for the real thing instead of getting a problematic knock off. The Edlund can openers are spendy but I'll never again have to deal with the frustration of the cheap little can openers that don't work or break just when you need them.It was amazing to get a new can opener - we had our old one for 19 years and it had started giving us a little battle to get a can open! Instead of changing blades and cog wheels I bought a new one. It opens cans with ease. We can use one finger to turn the handle when opening a can. My cook now loves me again! I would recommend it for anyone who has to open many cans!!!works great on #10 cans. I screwed it down to a heavy butcher block cutting board since I needed it to be movable. I own a small catering company and in the past we used the Hand Crank openers, but thy would break after a few weeks. Finally decided instead of ordering thous by the case at $15 each just bite the bullet and pay $100 for quality.good valueYou cannot go wrong getting and using this.
