We were storing our wine in its shipping boxes, and they were taking over the place. We tried some cheaper wine racks, but they weren't very stable. They shook when one walked nearby or took out a bottle of wine. So, we bought a pair of these wine cubes. They're really more kits, but very simple kits. With an electric screwdriver, it was easy to screw the top and bottom boards to the side boards. Then, all it took was sliding in the diagonals and we had sturdy wine cubes. They're nice and deep so bottles fit completely inside which is safer. We bought some wine tags to keep track of which wine was in which cubby, and, just like that, we are normal humans with furniture rather than nomads living in shipping containers.Others have noted that each of the four cubbies in a cube hold six ordinary bottles of wine, but many pinot noirs especially have wider bottles that aren't always cylindrical. We can usually get four of those in a cubby which is good, not great. Since most of our wine is in ordinary bottles, we're fine with that, but if you are seriously into pinot noir, you might want to buy a single cube and see if it works for you.We are using them as a base for a wine rack. Easy to assemble and well made. Couldn’t be happier !Bought this because it claimed to fit Turley wine bottles. Well, it does. It just won't hold 24 of them. Easy to assemble and very sturdy, but it didn't do what I wanted it to do, hence 3 stars.Product met my expectations very well. It came quickly and was easy to assemble. Strength of the cubes is adequate and they look good. Wish they were a little less expensive.Really nice. Best value for the price.Perfect addition to the cellar. Easy to assemble too.Excellent product. Easy to assemble. Arrived exactly as promised.
